If you are looking for a hardwood flooring that has a uniform color and grain, you will love our 5″ White Oak Select & Better Rift & Quartered unfinished hardwood. This flooring is made from the highest quality white oak that has minimal flaws such as knots and mineral streaks. It has a natural beauty that will enhance any room in your home. Our flooring is 3/4″ thick and unfinished, so you can customize it to your liking. It is also precision milled by NWFA standards or better and has a tongue and groove on all four sides for easy installation.
One of the best features of our flooring is the Rift & Quartered sawing method. This method produces a unique and attractive grain pattern that also makes the wood harder and more stable. This means that our flooring will resist warping and shrinking due to changes in temperature and humidity. Rift Sawn boards have a very straight and tight grain, while Quarter Sawn boards have a distinctive “ribbon & flake” pattern that adds character and charm. Our flooring is also suitable for radiant heat systems, as it can handle the heat without cracking or splitting.
